Okay, is this nuts?
My roommate has this female friend (they are not dating, but they spend time together, she has issues about thier relationship- which is another looong story, worthy of another post) that he goes out and does things with. Tuesday he calls her and invites her to see a play tonight; for those interested, the play is "Burn This" by Lanford Wilson, a good play. She says yes, but here's what's wierd... She never asked him what play they would be seeing. Thinking it is strange of her not to ask, he does his best to bring up their "theater date" in subsequent phone conversations (like where they'll meet, what theater the play is at, etc.) but she never asks what play they are seeing. Of course, I find all of this hilarious, because I enjoy watching my friends suffer. But when someone asks you to a movie, or to see a play or a live singer, isn't the title of the movie, play or name of the singer one of the first things you ask? I just don't get women. |

I know I'd ask. I'm the type that can't stand sitting through something I don't like, so I'd definetly ask.
Maybe some people don't care though. *shrugs* |

Perhaps she has strong feelings for him (could that be the other looong story?), and she doesn't give a rat's ass if they're going to a kindergarten dance recital. She's just happy to be with him.
Just a theory. |

Well I don't know if this is just me, but I really wouldn't care what kind of a movie it is. I'd just be happy to spend time with my friends. But since most of you are free, you might have different views on that, so i'll just shut up now.

If it was me, I would ask too. I don't want to be dragged to the nearest porn movie theater. That's what I would probably get if I didn't ask about the name of the movie. Then again this town doesn't show porno movies either. lol
It's safe to ask, because you never know what someone is going to drag you to. |

Maybe she just likes to be with him, thats my guess, and would be happy seeing Smurfs on Ice as long as she was with him.
***OFF TOPIC*** For those of you who are still in school do you ever notice how whenever a girl has to something they always ask one of there friends to come too. Like when they are in lunch if one goes to throw something away they'll ask one of their girlfriends to come to or when they talk to someone they ask another girl to come. The weird thing is the friend they ask to come never throws anything away or talks.....does this happen at your school? |
