"Mama's Family" was on NBC for two years: Season 1 (1983); Season 2 (1983-84). Then it went into its sydication years soon after that.

What do you mean "In syndication"?

It went into first-run weekly or daily syndication. Many other sitcoms have done this like Charles in Charge, Punky Brewster, It's A Living, Nine To Five, Silver Spoons, and Webster.
