Very interesting thing I heard in today's episode on WGN where Stan's mother comes to visit (played by Rue McClanahan).

She says to Charles that she is 54 years old. Later in the show, Stan tells his mother that he is 35 years old. That means that his mother was 19 when she had Stan! Not only that, but since Lila is 14, then Stan was 21 when Lila was born.

Not earth-shattering, but just an interesting side note.

You know what? I was just thinking about that...If Stan and Jill were both 35, which they were because they were in high school together, then they would have had to have Lila when they were 21. That means they weren't out of college yet. That's very ironic because they both have successful careers. Usually people drop out of college to raise babies. That means Jill was pregnant and raising a baby for the last two years of college, and she still managed to graduate and have a long-lasting career in writing. That's mindboggling.
