Default What show isn't aging well for you?

What's a show you liked at one time, maybe even a lot, but as the years go on you find it harder and harder to rewatch and might even dislike? Why? Maybe the writing is not good rewatching it today, or it doesn't connect with you anymore, any reason.

I liked Full House and Mr. Bean when I was a lot younger, not anymore. I used to watch Dharma and Greg, but had enough of Jenna Elfman. I was a fan of Everybody Hates Chris the first few seasons, but lost interest. I really liked Covert Affairs for awhile (Piper Perabo's drama on USA), but eventually dropped it. Person of Interest was really good its first two seasons, but not so much when Shaw took over.

There will be disagreement on this, but I really used to like All in the Family, but it's so far removed now, and is so dated, I really don't watch it anymore.

I did come across an episode I stuck with on Sunday night, though. Where a guy wanted Edith to do a TV commercial; I only vaguely remembered it.

All in the Family sucks, maybe the most overrated classic sitcom. We did get The Jeffersons which is good from it though.

The Cosby Show I don't watch it anymore not only because of Cosby himself but it was really sexist towards men. Another one is Welcome Back Kotter. It was cringey and painful to watch now.

Three's Company is terrible. Watching Roper making fun of gay people is really cringe. Sexist etc

Many people make fun of the 50s shows, but there was none of that on those shows.

Therefore I think some of them, like Leave it to Beaver, aged better than later shows.

I think as time goes by and as one gets older, you see them differently. Charlie's Angels was a show I liked when it first aired but saw it a few years ago and it didn't have the same interest for me

Here's a weird one. I used to watch NBC Real People when it first came out in the early 1980s. Somewhere, I tried streaming it and lost interest real quick (pun intended!). Gosh, I gave it another go as background while doing something else and it really annoyed me to the point where I had to turn it off.

Sometimes the saying "you can't go home again" is true.

Your'e not alone. I used to watch that show too. Looking back now, it looks really bad.

Probably nearly every TGIF show I watched when I was a kid. Some shows like Step By Step I can tolerate, but the others I can live without. I could never get into All In The Family and a lot of the other Norman Lear shows.

For me, it's the sarcastic, meanish shows I watched when I was a teenager like "Roseanne," "Married with Children" and "Seinfeld." I don't relate to that kind of show anymore.

I wish there was a button you could push to erase characters from shows. Like I would like to watch The Cosby Show without the parents and Designing Women without Julia Sugarbaker.
