Crime question - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Do any of you remember a crime were this teen was killed by his friends and left dead under the tent were they camped out at. The top boys who did the dead had joined a group this senior kid started at their high school. and he had convenced them do it, and he was brain washing these younger kids with war videos. saying there people in his hire ups in his secret group and they would fight a war in his home country. Probably a country in the middle east. For the life of me can't remember this crime? One on websleuths did but couldnt remember names either. Searched all over and still can not figure it out. can some one help?

there is also chance it was on 48hours. 20/20 or dateline. had websleuths l.ooking high and low for it lol funny how such a big deal was made of this case and then it disapears.

I know I saw it on a true crime show years ago.

websleuths found it., it was 20/20 episode called simon says kill. this kid nam,e tony was killed by his friends at the lead of this 19 year old simon sue., sorry i bothered you guys.

Glad you found it! And no problem, I think half the appeal of the message boards is to ask each other questions like this if we can't find the cases on our own.
