I think these look better than anything CBS has done with Lucy or Dick Van Dyke. There are minor fades that probably could be corrected.

Nah. The program is called De-Oldify and it simply adds varied density blobs of khaki color to some areas and a blue-grey hue to the rest.

There are vintage enthusiast sites on social media where, seemingly, every time someone finds an old photo of, say, The Three Stooges that is in b&w, they feel the need to add color using that De-Oldify website and claim they found a rare color photo-- albeit, one where odd places like hands, necks and hair have no color and everything else has that peachy/grey appearance. Suit coats and clothes in the video and photos always have tinges of darker saturated khaki mixed in with the grey blobs. No red, green, yellow or blue to be found.



It's s dreadful program with a two shade palette that can't stay "inside the lines". It should be abandoned or outlawed.
