Instant Recall "Wink Martindale's return as a comeback kid" but GSN's fine mess

When it was announced that Wink Martindale would make a marvelous return as a "Comeback Kid" to game show hosting many people knew that at his age Wink Martindale still had the talent to host a game show easily. Little did we know GSN would soon bring the talented game show legend back to TV with a game show everyone could watch. The result Instant Recall. Now I can't figure out why GSN chose this show for Wink Martindale in the first place? Because when I would see the previews for Instant Recall during my time watching Whammy The All-New Press Your Luck reruns I thought it would be a cool show. But when I saw the debut previews and teasers for Instant Recall I knew it would be a fine mess because the previews showed Wink Martindale trying to be a rap artist singing about Instant Recall this show was destined to fail. I simply think Instant Recall was a ripoff of the short-lived Dennis Miller NBC show Amnesia and that's the type of game shows GSN was trying to get on their channel. Because GSN was known for game show favorites such as Catch-21 Whammy Lingo but Instant Recall didn't seem to fit well with GSN's lineup and I think that's why GSN cancelled it. But if there's any game show that's the weakest of Wink Martindale's legacy Instant Recall might be the one weak game show
