This November is going to be the 40th anniversary for this very iconic, but very sad Sesame Street episode. Originally, the episode was seen on Thanksgiving 1983. How many of you got to watch it on the actual day? If you did, how did it affect the holiday? Did your parents/relatives talk about it when your family was together, as Children's Television Workshop intended apparently?
