I really wouldn't know unless I was in the situation, but I probably would have bent over & kissed my butt good-bye.

If i was above the crash i would jump out the window and start climbin down or something...fast...if i was below it i would get on my feet on and run to the bottom. After i get out i would go like a mile away and watch the towers fall. sad sad sad.

Such a morbid thing to contemplate.....well, I definitely would not have jumped. I'd try my hardest to try and escape, but I don't know what exactly I would have done. Gee....now I'm all sad and depressed. I gotta get a cookie.

I almost was.
Two weeks before the attacks I stayed at the WTC Marriott Hotel, right in between the towers. At the time the attacks took place, I would have just fallen into a deep sleep. I more than likely wouldn't have made it out. But, if I were in one of the towers above where a plane hit, after a bit of trying to get out I would have jumped. It'd be a lot less painful than.. *ahem*... burning and having metal collapse on you. Below where a plane hit, I would have pushed and shoved my way to the bottom as fast as possible, probably jumping a few stair cases on the way down.... Sort of a haunting picture (at least to me) is this, taken right before I left NY. The hotel I stayed at is at the top of the picture, and yes, it was destroyed. http://horrordvdtalk.com/images/WTC.jpg |

I honestly can't say what I would do. I would of course be in a state of panic and shock, but there's not telling what instincts would take over at that time. I'd like to think I would be able to think rationally, but I seriously doubt that.
All I know, is that for those people to jump it had to have been horrible inside there. I guess the 2000 degrees of heat and the burning steel falling around me would be enough to convince me to jump. Honestly, that had to have been the most horrible feeling... ks |

I have learned through the years NEVER to ASSUME what I would do in anybody's circumstances! Yes, I am afraid of high places too, but I DON'T presume to know what I would do! That is a good thing to learn in life, believe me! No one can put themselves in another's place unless they experience first hand the same thing!

I would have first tried to see if I could get down the stairs and if I couldn't have I would have jumped to my death.

depends on what floor i was. like if i was on the 10th or something, i'd jump. i'm scared of heights, but i think i would do it. if it was higher, i'd be better off just walking down.
