Remembering Best Buy's famous Idea Box Mascot commercials

In 1996 during the 1996 holiday shopping season to attract customers Best Buy came up with a clever mascot to use in their holiday commercials of 1996 that became known as the Best Buy Idea Box. The mascot is simply the familiar Best Buy price tag logo with hands and feet and was featured in lots of the 1996 holiday commercials for Best Buy and was a clever mascot indeed. In fact the Best Buy Idea Box became so popular that based on those commercials alone Best Buy decided to use it year-round in their commercials and the Idea Box was also featured during Best Buy grand openings and even as a plushie that was used as Black Friday giveaways and doorbusters and there was even a second Idea Box plushie dressed as Santa Claus but is just a variation of the previous plushie but with a Santa hat. Although no longer seen in Best Buy commercials today the Best Buy Idea Box is one of the awesomest mascots ever made
