Heart Your Philosophical One Liners

I've heard this one for decades and now at my late Life, I affirm that it's Truth:

One Day At A Time

This is a good test here to see how many members participate....

That's pretty much how I lived my whole life. Also Sydney, Cafe Americain, Hot In Cleveland, two seasons of Touched By An Angel, cooking shows, and a bunch of TV movies.

Good, was there a job/profession squeezed in all that?

The philosophical phrase One Day At A Time you first chose (without mention of job or profession) was Valerie Bertinelli's signature show that made her famous. Naturally the rest of it was connected to her.

Oh I didn't know that...I believe my first recollection of it was in the AA rooms....I had enough people in my life who had liquor destroying them.

Now I and friends use it for everyday life ....we can't jump backward and can't go forward so it's day by day.

I agree with that one. I'd much rather smack someone instead of just cursing them out

Well, if you consider general incompetence a profession....

Growing up and being under the experiences of my parents, I got many bits of their philosophy and as I grew older, found my own and with much older age, so many that I can quote like:

The moment we start to live, we start to die.

This is not a morbid statement, but the Truth....

Not much philosophy around Sitcom.
