Can't think of another show that had so many send-offs. Much of the town abandons their jobs or duties to send-off people on mostly trips. The women get made up in their best dress and the men put on suits and ties.

A few that come to mind.

Mayberry band going to Raleigh.
Aunt Bee's trip to Mexico
Taylor's trip to Hollywood.
Howard moving to island paradise.
Aunt Bee's cruise (MRFD).
Aunt Bee's first solo plane piloting.

Any others?
