Hi,
I was hoping some people on the board, could give me some information about Cheers &/or Frasier scripts. Did the script covers format/designs change each season, how can you tell if it's authentic, etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi,
What I mean is I've seen Cheers & Frasier scripts on, but I never know which are authentic. So, I was hoping people could post some information about the scripts & tips for buying them, so that when I see a script on Ebay or somewhere I can have a better idea of whether it's proper or a fake/copy. I'm sure there's other people like me, who would like to obtain some scripts, but don't know enough to be able to say that the Script their thinking about buying is 100% authentic & that their not be conned. Thanks, Zeb. |

There really isn't anything fancy about a real script. I own a script from the Norm Macdonald show that I got when I went to a taping of the show. It sort of looks like a book report with a hard cover and typed pages. There really isn't anything that standsout about a script. Just use your judgement. If it looks fake, don't take a chance. It really is hard to tell though.

Original scripts are pretty hard to identify, unless they're authenticated. I would probably steer clear of purchasing an "original" script on an auction websight.
I have purchased scripts from various places online, and usually pay about 15 bucks for them. They're just photocopies of an original script, which is basically a photocopy itself, nothing special. Don't get ripped off. try looking for "TV and Movie scripts" on your search engine. |
