Chalk up another victory for "Adult Swim."

I'm glad they got it. All they need is to get Family Guy and they'll be set.

Yeah if they got Family guy they could air it and futurama back to back which would get good ratings

Comedy Central just bought the rights to "Dilbert" and Kevin Smith's short lived "Clerks."

Get off the ball Cartoon Network, pick up "Family Guy" before all the good ones are taken!

Yahoo! The Family Guy should be next if they know what they're doing!

I read somewhere the deal with Cartoon Network isn't exclusive, so Futurama could show up in local syndication. But I'm not sure.

For those of us who have CN, Futurama is a lot better there than it would be in syndication. Mainly because CN doesn't edit the show for time. And for the first time we get to see the full screen end credits and hear the end version of the theme.

Really? Good to know. I was wondering if CN was going to cut up the episodes...

Cartoon Network seems to have this idea that people tune in to see the show, not the commercials. They have 2 very short commerial breaks in the show. The show ends at 11:25 p.m. and commercials run for 5 minutes before the next show starts.

Futurama may never have reached it's potential in popularity(thanks to FOX), but maybe that's a good thing. Every time a really popular, long-running show becomes syndicated, it gets edited for more commercial time. But that might never happen with Futurama.

The one thing I have a problem with is the 11PM timeslot. A little past my bedtime for me.
I know they usually don't show their "Adult Swim" programs during the day, but they should make an exception for Futurama. An occasional weekend marathon would be nice...
