My thinking on this Tree, is that it was a live tree which a family decorated for christmas and instead of just tossing it out, they planted it along the Interstate and it grew and grew and grew.......

To be honest I did not read the whole article, I started to and things started to jump all over the place with the article and I got frustrated and gave up. Now I was able to get thru it and I see things now. Thanks.
