Default Usernames and How You Got Yours

I have one I have used a long time and I didn't use it here.

The one I use here is a female name I really like and would like to have it and 13 my day of birth.

I've kept usernames pretty sensible, and wonder where some folks were when they posted their's.....in outer space? Some names are so weird.

Just today on another board I got a wild reply on an issue and the username is Death. Needless to say, I moved on, no reply from me. What a morbid person!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some answers I got when I asked the same question 8 years ago (holy moly, 8 years ). Some people who replied are still here, some are gone.

My name comes from my obsession with Hawkeye and I always have liked the nickname Hawkee and so when I heard about Jeremy Renner's accident I knew my name had to be Hawkee because like Jeremy and Hawkeye I have a hawk's spirit and hawks symbolize good luck and fortune so that made me proud

That's right Caroline. The moment I heard about Jeremy Renner I knew Hawkee had to be my new name. But the most embarassing thing about my name is that sometimes people call me hockey and I dislike it a lot. But my mom calls me Hawk a lot

Besides that " I lie over the ocean and the sea" ! My name is Tonya , and when I was a little girl my family called me Tonny a lot . Some neighbor kids thought they said " Bonnie" being that Tonny/Tonya wasn't a really common name. So it was cool, I told them it wasn't Bonnie but if they wanted to call me that they could . So some still did.

So Bonnie is like my rhyming alias !

Oh Wow, I gotta go post that on that other thread !

I call myself MrCleveland because not only do I live in Cleveland...but I get "The Cleveland Treatment" almost every day...meaning I'm usually down-and-out.

Previously I was retroTVfan4ever but then I started thinking that most of my favorite shows are from the 1960's, so I changed the name to 1960'sTVfan.

I don't even remember all the Usernames i've had...about 7 or 8. Let's see my first was mr. roper. Some of my others where Nighthawk, Stuck in the 70's, Clint Eastwood Fan, DallasCowboysFanatic. I'm sure I'm missing a couple. Mr. Television is named after the great Milton Berle.

Opus: I was thinking since your favorite comic included Opus the Penguin and I never knew this Opus in my daughter's growing yrs nor grandkids years, I'm wondering where the Penguin fits in, that would also give me a clue about your mystery age....
