Heather Small
I was listening to the soundtrack of Akeelah And The Bee and found a song called Proud that was sung by a singer named Heather Small who is a UK based R&B singer who was the lead vocalist in the group M People. When I heard Heather Small sing her voice reminded me of Cher and the song Proud is a great inspirational song that was also the theme of NBC's The Biggest Loser. I'm surprised that Heather isn't well known in America but if you listen to Heather Small sing you will be shocked at her Cher-like voice
