Default Favorite "Rocky" movie

Of all five "Rocky" movies starring Sylvester Stallone as the Italian Stallion, which one is your favorite? I like the first one the best. I especially like the part where he is training for the title fight against Apollo Creed and the famous theme is playing as he starts running up stairs. It won several Oscars, I think (I know it won an Oscar for best film editing)

the first Rocky is still the best. Its incredible how many fans come to philly just to run up the art museum steps!

Call me cheesy, but I love the fourth one. With the Russian and everything. Good stuff.

Smile Yo Rocky!

Rocky (1976) is a film you can enjoy even if you don't like boxing, it's my favourite of the series. By the way, I heard rumours of a possible Rocky VI.

Walter you're right there is gonna be a Rocky VI & in my opinion Stallone doesn't need to make anymore Rocky's. He's too old. He's also talkin about maybe doing another Rambo which he also needs to leave alone. Stallone do me a favor & go retire from acting cause you're washed up now. I did like his Get Carter movie but CopLand was horrible. That movie had a lot of good actors in it & it was horrible. I think the best Rocky's are 3 & 4. I never saw the first one. 3 had Hulk Hogan & Mr T in them & 4 had the russian Dolph Lundgren & Sylvester's ex wife Brigette Nielsen who also played in Cobra with him. Cobra was my movie. Where is Carl Weathers who played Apollo Creed? The last time i saw him was on In The Heat Of The Night with Carroll O Connor.

He can be heard in Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights as the GNC Guy. He played Chubbs Peterson in Happy Gilmore and essentially the same character in Little Nicky. Both also star Adam Sandler.

Sylvester Stallone has a movie coming out called Eye See You. I don't know if it's coming to theatres or straight to video. The previews look good. It's directed by the guy who did I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Sylvester plays a cop in this movie & black actor Charles S Dutton is in it.

Sylvester's Cobra, Rambo First Blood Part 2, Rocky IV movies i can't get enough of. I can watch those movies over & over again. I haven't seen Rambo part 2 in a long time but i've seen Cobra a lot of times. It's been on cable a lot. I remember when him & Brigette Nielsen were married for a short time. She was in Cobra & Rocky IV with him.

I guess nobody is a big Stallone fan as iam. Has anybody seen him in Nighthawks with Billy Dee Williams & Rutger Hauer? I've only seen bits & pieces of it. It's a action flick that came out in the early 80's i think or late 70's. Sylvester & Billy Dee were cops chasing after Rutger who was the bad guy. I'm gonna go have to rent this again. Stallone looked different in this movie with a beard & mustache.
