Back in the 80's-90's Nabisco had Fudge Covered Oreo Cookies and they tasted wonderful and my mom used to like them too and they were sold around the holidays then year-round and also came in white fudge too. But I haven't seen Fudge Covered Oreo Cookies in stores anymore and I wondered what happened to them. Both versions of the Fudge Covered Oreo cookies were marvelous treats to have during the holidays and I have been craving some for awhile. Did Nabisco quit making these Oreo cookies?

Kroger sells the fudge covered Oreos year round. The white fudge covered Oreos are still only around Christmas time.

Healthline.com says:
"You Can’t Sweets Your Way Into Diabetes" “Genes play a large role in the development of diabetes,” Bacon and Matz write. By saying that eating sweets gives you diabetes, you’re furthering this idea that food has an intrinsic “good” or “bad” value and that your punishment for eating badly is getting a disease. https://www.healthline.com/health/di...use-diabetes#1 |

I've heard the genes thing and diabetes, my family were major sugar/carb people and no diabetes from it all BUT plenty of dental problems...BUT all in all nothing nutritious about refined sugars/carbs......moderation moderation moderation. And keep an eye on blood sugar levels.
I just bought a box of honey graham crackers and they even have a little fiber in them, gooy sweet sugar sweets turn me OFF and these honey grahams are perfect....I may even do a smore. |

Since we've wandered off topic, I'll go along and mention Oreo has pumpkin spice back.
These are the bomb!! It's too bad it's limited time. |

I have always loved fudge covered Oreos myself. Love them with hot drinks such as coffee or mocha.
