Are there any comedy shows that are recorded before a live audience still airing?

Isn't a laugh track a cue system for those listening to know when a punch/funny line was said?

I often have TV shows playing in the background when working on something else. If I am not closely paying attention, I sometimes will back up the show (if streaming or watching a DVD) to hear the joke.
