Two Byron Allen news blog stories in one week must be a record. He bought the Weather Channel for only $300 million in 2018. It must be nice to have that kind of money.

In 1979 at the age of 18, he was the youngest comedian to ever perform on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.

I remember him as one of the hosts of Real People.

Byron had so many shows, obviously he really profited & socked the money away. It seemed like he was producing a big chunk of what was available in syndication for a long time.

He can buy ABC and then replace and merge it with the TheGrio on the network and the owned stations. He'd probably keep Robin Roberts, Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin but a lot of the others at ABC News or ABC will be let go or replaced.
