I noticed that Peter Falk didn't reprise his role as Columbo in the HB-DD episodes of Hollywood Phantom from 1977. I suppose that Falk was becoming more demanding with his fees when negotiating with NBC. The 2 part episode has JD Cannon and Weaver from McCloud (Weaver is a slight cameo on a horse). We have Casey Kasem playing the Columbo.

I think it's kind of a neat way to introduce Kasem's character, fooling Nancy and Frank into thinking he was Columbo, then finding out he's just a day player doing an impersonation.
