Woah, woah, hold up. REMAKE?! Of RHPS?? Well that totally friggin sucks!!! What's it gonna be w.o. Tim Curry?! Or Susan Sarandon?? Or Barry Bostwick! It. Will. Suck.

Of course I reccommend Bebe Neuwirth to play Columbia cos she's my fave. Can you see Bebe as Columbia?

Well it's going to be in 2003.I know that but it must be LATE 2003 because there's no cast as of yet.

Red face RHPS REMAKE RELEASE

HI people, its me the person who started this topic, ok, rocky horror remake is supposedly going to be broadcast on FOX on the date Richard O'Brien opened the first stage production, sometime in february or march, 2003 will be the 30th anniversary. I dont have a clue when it will be broadcast in the uk, I just hope its round that time too, after all rocky horror began in the uk. Also I think all fans should go to imdb.com and search for actors u think will suit parts for the movie and post them here!

Thanx

Okay even though i don't like the idea of them redoing it......

I think they should use the original cast! Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Tim Curry, Meatloaf....

Ok sorry lol the Richard O'Brien caught my eye! lol..Im sure you an guess why..anyways, Ive never seen RHPS, but from what most remakes and such are made, they usually are not even CLOSE the the original, unless of course its the original cast and nothing to dramatically has changed. You would think all the showbiz people etc. would know not to fix anything if it aint broken. The original is always the best, and remakes only make it look bad, IMO. Sequels arent always great either, but theyre usually somewhat better.

Actually I've seen one remake that was really close to the original except for the fact it had different actors. This movie would be the two Psycho movies. The remake they did with Vince Vaugn was the exact same script as Anthony Perkin's Psycho. I don't think they changed one thing involving the script. The remake still sucks, but I don't even put that in a class with Perkin's Psycho movies.

Coincidentally, Vince's Psycho came on tv early this morning. I caught about the last hour of it. Even if it was the same script with different actors, it just sucked.

Anthony Perkins will always be Norman Bates. *cue Psycho music*

I'd like to go on record here and say that this is a very, VERY bad idea. I assume that this is FOX's brilliant idea? I swear. A team of mentally deficient monkeys must run that company. No offense, webuster, since it *almost* sounds like you might work for them.

Geeze. Remaking RHPS would be about as bad as remaking Citizen Kane. If it's great to begin with, don't mess with it!

Cool

First I wanna say, I DON'T WORK FOR FOX! if i did i wouldn't want his address, so does anyone at all have Stephan Elliotts address? Also I think It'll be fun to watch but uncomfortable too, I mean once you see an original once they remake it with a new cast you feel they look like cheap rip-offs going to see RHPS on a saturday night. Also: anyone have AMC Backstory for rocky horror?

Thanx
