If anyone is interested, fresh out of ideas and dying to write, and/or willing to accept a challenge- I'm your girl! I, myself, am a TERRIBLE writer, but I am GREAT at coming up w/ ideas, which I would LOVE to see made into stories! Anybody brave enough to accept a challenge?
Here is my idea:
A teenage girl who is new in town gets a job as a waitress at Al's. Fonzie becomes attached to her, and she to him, and, when he finds out about her awesome power-house voice, she becomes live entertaiment for Al's.
Even though this girl has a WONDERFUL personality and everyone loves her, she has a toubled past and is in trouble, even though it is not her fault. Can Fonzie and the rest help her before it's too late?!

That's it! The 1st person to reply who is wanting to take the challenge gets the story. If that person tries to write one and cannot, it is their job to post a message saying so, so that someone else can try.
Who among you, gifted writers, is willing to accept this challenge?

Woohoo!! Sounds awesome! Id love to do it!! Im currently doing my own fanfic (its on the Happy Days/ Laverne & Shirley fan fic board) and its actually a cross-over of the two shows! But hey...I can do two @ a time!! hehe..unless of course CamQueen wants this one for her site! lol its up to you!! Or maybe FonzFan?? (whereever u are!! lol)..or anyone else! Im already writing a story, so if someone else wants it, feel free...but if no one takes it soon, Im gonna grab it!

I started writing this fic as part of my New York series. Anyway, I got as far as Carmine proposing to Shirley and I'm blocked.
It's got a small Kotter crossover too. I'm thinking about moving the gang back to Wisconsin and crossing over with That 70's Show. Anyway. This is how far I got. I'm having trouble with dialogue. Also, what would you change, add or take out:

Wedding Bells

July 1, 1969
Bensonhurst, Brooklyn

Today is a big day for Lenny and Laverne. They are finally getting married after a two-year engagement. In '67, Katie's family was killed in an car crash on the Jersey Turnpike, causing her to live with Laverne and Shirley. Laverne's father suffered a massive stroke in '68, forcing him to retire and Edna into the workforce. Laverne and Lenny managed to find time for dating and romance in between tragedies, which, have brought them closer together. Today is the day to put all the sadness behind them and start a new life.

Laverne and Shirley's bedroom

Laverne: Shirl! can you c'mere, I can't get my hair to look right!

Shirley: Okay, okay, just relax. I've got bobby pins.
(fixing Laverne's hair)I can't believe you're gonna wear that dress without a bra.

Laverne: Shirl, it's 1969, It's the in thing. Lots of women don't wear them.

Shirley: Yeah but, you're a, more full-figured
Laverne: Shirley, that's just a nice way of saying fat. Don't make me hit you on my wedding day.

Shirley: Fine, I won't say anymore about the subject.

Laverne: My god, there are miracles. Oww!! you did that on purpose.

Shirley: Oh stop! you big braless baby. Oww! I told you not to hit me there, I've got a bad sunburn!

In The Livingroom:

Juan: So, you're getting adopted in two weeks.

Katie: Yeah.

Juan: You don't sound happy about it.

Katie: I am but, I miss my parents and brothers and Sisters.

Juan: Yeah, I don't know what I would do if I lost my family.

Katie: Don't get me wrong, i'm glad that Lenny and Laverne are adopting me, I love them, but it just feels weird.

Juan: Yeah, it is. I can't believe it's only been two years.

They sit silently at the kitchen table as their memories play out
like a home movie to the song "Memories".

At Lenny and Squiggy's Place:

Lenny: Hey Squig, where's my shirt?

Squiggy: In the frigidaire.

Lenny: No, not that one, the hippy shirt.

Squiggy: On your bed. (mumbles)Jeez, a hippy wedding.
what next.

Lenny: Hey buddy, don't knock it til you tried it.

Squiggy: I'd like to knock your block off. Maybe you'll make
more sense that way.

Lenny: Oh shut up.

Frank and Edna's

Edna: Frank are you sure you're up to this?

Frank: Edna, nothing is gonna stop me from walking Laverne down the aisle, do you hear me, nothing.

Edna: I realize that, but you've been awfully tired lately, i'm
just worried that you might fall.

Frank: Don't worry, i'll be fine. I'm a tough old bird.

Carmine knocks on Laverne and Shirley's door. Katie answers it.

Katie: Hi Carmine, c'mon.

Carmine: Hey Kate, Hey Juan. Wow, you two look nice.

Katie and Juan: Thanks

Carmine: Is Shirley here?

Katie: Yeah, she and Laverne are in their room getting ready.
want me to get Shirley for you?

Carmine: Sure, would you?

Katie: Okay.

She knocks on the door, walks in and Shirley comes out. They go out in the hall for awhile. He paces back and forth nervously.

Shirley: Carmine, what's wrong? Your nervous as a cat.

Carmine: Well I have something to ask you and I'm not quite
sure how to go about it.

Shirley: Start from the beginning.

Carmine: Okay.

He kneels down

Carmine: Shirley Feeney, we've known each other since we were kids and I've always loved you and..well..would you marry me?

Thank you, I think i'm gonna change Katie's last name to Sullivan and make some other changes, I'll have them take trips to Wisconsin and combine Happy Days and That 70's Show.

I'm gettin' kinda anxious. If anyone has started writing a story from my idea, please let me know a li'l bit about what you have thus far. If no one has started yet, the 1st person to reply to this topic (I don't remember the name, but you know who you are) take this as your green light to go ahead and start writing, because evidently nobody else wants it, and obviously no one is half as EXCITED as you are about it!
