Just saw goober contest tonight, and poor howard mcnear,this was after his second stroke and you tell it affected him bad, in fact you can barely understand him, this was the last episode he was in.
note: in the scene where he drives off from the station you can tell its not him and on the far left you can see part of one of the quanset huts that was used for the the gomer pyle show.
