Have they ever thought about developing a new version of High Rollers? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Of all the game show classics that are given new life I'm surprised nobody has ever thought of developing a new version of High Rollers. When it first came out in the 70's with Alex Trebek and then returned in the 80's with Wink Martindale High Rollers was a fun game show to watch and I think a remake of High Rollers would be pretty good to watch and it would be perfect for ABC to air during the daytime. As for the host I would choose either Dave Foley or Mamoudou Athie from Disney's Elemental to host because Mamoudou Athie would make a fun host for High Rollers

It would be great for ABC to air a game show in the daytime. The network hasn't aired a game show since the Ross Shafer incarnation of Match Game was canceled in 1991 and the network returned the noon time period to local affiliates. As for High Rollers, it was a simple gambling game that deserves to be revived.
