In the 80's General Foods developed a mini cooking show called General Foods Shortcuts that featured various chefs cook and talk about interesting recipes ranging from apple pie to chicken a la king and so on and it seemed like a smart idea for General Foods to do. General Foods Shortcuts quit airing in the 90's but it was a great mini cooking show
Does anyone remember General Foods Shortcuts? |

My mom got to watch an episode of General Foods Shortcuts with me and she liked the recipes they had and she saw one of the episodes with me and got inspired to make the recipe she saw in the episode with me sometime. I wonder why General Foods never got the chance to sponsor their own longer cooking show and instead had the General Foods Shortcuts mini cooking shows instead? Because General Foods's cooking shows could've worked on PBS or syndication on weekends
