Default Missing Episode?

Is TV Land not showing at least one episode of LITB? The one that I am thinking of is where Wally and Eddie pull a prank on Lumpy and chain his car to a tree! What happend to that episode? What is the story synopsis that leads to them doing that? Do you remember this one, because I haven't seen it for many years. I don't think TV Land ever played it. Thanks for your help. Please include the offical episode # and title if you have it. Thanks again.

I don't know if TVLand is showing that ep or not, but I think I still have it on tape from another source.

Synopsis-- Lumpy is hiding behind the shrubs near the Cleaver house as Wally and Eddie walk out. Eddie tries to start his car, but a cherrybomb explodes under his hood, then Lumpy comes out from hiding with a silly laugh. So Wally tries to start his car and a cherrybomb was planted in his also. Eddie shows up later with some suggestions on jokes to pull on Lumpy in revenge. Wally doesn't go for his first 2, so then Eddie says to take Ward's tow-chain and hook it to the rear axle of Lumpy's car and wrap the other end around a strong tree, so then Lumpy will be sitting there burning rubber and not moving from his driveway. So they do that the next day, with Eddie phoning Lumpy and using a fake soft voice to say he is Julie Foster and "she" wants Lumpy to come and help her with her math. So Lumpy walks smugly out to his car with a tie and sportcoat, starts the car and when the chain is taut it pulls the rear axle off his car. Eddie and Wally, spying from behind the bushes, run away.

Fred comes out and sees that the towchain is marked "W.Cleaver." Lumpy lets it slip that "Wally and Eddie must have done this to me." But when Fred asks him why he mentioned Eddie, Lumpy squirms out. That evening Fred takes the chain to Ward and explains about the damaged car, so Ward knows what happened and why. Wally makes the suggestion that he and Eddie borrow some tools and try to put the rear axle back on Lumpy's car the next Saturday. Eddie comes by and at first he still insists that they can't be tied in with the sabotage, but then he hears Ward tell Fred on the phone that Eddie and Wally will be there early Saturday to start the job. While they are working Fred comes out and scolds them again for being very "juvenile" with their practical jokes. Eddie, with Lumpy standing by, says, "Yes sir; it's just about as juvenile as Clarence putting those cherrybombs in our cars." Fred then orders Lumpy to help them with the task, since he started the round of jokes, but Wally says he and Eddie are coming along pretty good, so "please don't make Clarence help us." Fred says he sees their point. The tag scene is Lumpy stopping by Wally's asking for help to get his top down, which is stuck because of his big tuba in the back seat. Then he says he talked to Julie to tell her why he didn't make it to her house to help her with her math, and she jsut laughed and said she didn't know what he was talking about; then Eddie demonstrates the voice he used, which would have fooled no one on the show but Lumpy.

Well TVLandmust not have bought the right to all of the LITB episodes because they didn't have episodes 4 and 7 I think, and a lot of the episodes in the teens they didn't have either, one day they jumped from about 16 to 23. So the episode that you are talking about might not have been purchased

TVLand has shown all but episode 231 which is the practical joke episode. I have recorded all of the other episodes from TVLand over the last year. I wish they would show that one though so I could get a complete collection. I have seen that epicode though, back when TBS used to run the series and it is a classic, all the more reason for TVLand to show it, but, who knows when it comes to decisions that are made by the higher-ups at television stations. Or else maybe that episode was lost or destroyed at some point in the past.
