Every year at the beginning of the holidays HSN starts selling cookies made by David's Cookies and I would like to know if anyone has ever gotten them during Christmas every year? From what I learned about David's Cookies from HSN they are supposed to have the best cookies and they make cookies year-round but during the holidays they always introduce new flavors of cookies every year. Like during Halloween David's Cookies has sugar cookies in frosting that is orange and black and during Thanksgiving they'll have Pumpkin Pie flavored cookies and during December they have chocolate mint cookies too and they are delicious too. During the holidays my mom and I like to get fancy cookies and other foods to get into the holiday season and we kept seeing David's Cookies advertised on HSN and was curious about them

Davld's Cookies opened their first store around 1980 on 2nd Ave and 55th Street. Their cookies were beyond amazing. The best chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies I've ever had. They were a phenomenon. During the 1980's, they opened several other stores around Manhattan including Chinatown.
Then they went national and the cookies changed from being the best cookies ever into being just another over-hyped commercialized crappy chain. At least to me, they're an insult to the original. |

When it comes to cookies I am a good judge on taste and my favorite cookies are first chocolate chip cookies then vanilla sandwich cookies are second then sugar cookies are third and last is butter cookies on my list. How are David's Cookies? Do they taste like Mrs. Fields Cookies? Because whenever I have seen David's Cookies on HSN that's what they remind me of. What is the best cookies of David's Cookies? Because I know that they sell an assorted cookie tin called Santa's Best "or something like that every December"

I hadn't heard of this brand. But then I don't watch HSN.

I consider myself a first-rate judge of chocolate chip cookies, and the best are:
1. home made, of course. Freeze them to keep them closer to fresh, and set what you want, out for 5 minutes. 2. Subway, but they must be fresh (ask for it), and baked just right, to where they have a slightly crispy outer layer, and a soft inside. It's a hard texture to describe, but you know it when you have it and it can't be beat. Also, there are certain franchises which never have them fresh--you just have to find the right location. 3. Surprisingly, McDonald's. They're also better fresh, but they stay fresh longer than Subway. 4. Most grocery stores bake cookies, but I've never found any that compare to 2 and 3. |

Anybody ever heard of online Cheryl's Cookies, they are great! They come in a box or a tin and each cookie is individually wrapped, in clear wrap for freshness, and they ARE fresh.
The sugar cookie is exceptionally good. |
