Leah Remini-Hosted "People Puzzler" Syndicated Game Show gets Fall Premiere Date

"People Puzzler", Game Show Network’s pop culture game show hosted by Leah Remini, has been cleared in more than 90% of the country with premiere on track for fall, Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury announced Tuesday.

It will debut September 11 on market stations belonging to Fox, CBS, Nexstar, Scripps, Hearst, Gray, Sinclair and others, with Fox’s WWOR New York slotting it at 6 p.m. weeknights.

“This hit game on GSN makes it a proven performer with over 300 episodes,” said Debmar-Mercury Co-Presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein.

“Having generated strong household ratings and adult 25-54 demos, and offering viewers a fan favorite with Leah as host, People Puzzler has deservedly earned its place on stations’ fall schedules.”

I hope this doesn't mean People Puzzler is done with new seasons on GSN.

It seems to me that Game Show Network wants to branch out reruns of their shows and move them to syndication. Game Show Network first did this with America Says when it finished it's run when it got cancelled and then moved it to syndication. What I think they are doing with People Puzzler is giving new fans a chance to see the episodes for the first time and I think Game Show Network is still going to have more People Puzzler episodes because the show is still a smash hit and once it works in syndication other Game Show Network game show reruns will soon follow in syndication in the future. Because when you get the general picture Catch-21 reruns were on GetTV for a long time and did pretty well. Next Game Show Network game show to be added to syndication will most likely be The Chase. But I'm surprised that People Puzzler is still surviving on Game Show Network

People Puzzler should thrively succeed in syndication just it was on Game Show Network all this time recently.
