And it seems to me that the characters of Florence and Elana were good, but the rest of the cast was awful (and the dialog was def below average). Gibbs was smart to have a return clause to the Jeffersons in her contract before joining this show.

Well the show never was a HIT so she definitely had a clear path back to the Jeffersons lol In the Ropers case, their show was top 5 and was renewed
