In I Can Do Bad All By Myself, April is a selfish, alcoholic women who is dating a married man who has several kids and one on the way. Her Sister has been dead for a while and her Underaged Niece and Nephews have been being taken care of by April's elderly Mother/Their Grandmother.

Her niece and nephews were caught trying to steal from Madea of all people and Madea interrogates them and they admit they haven't seen their Grandma for days and their only other Relative is April as their Mother is dead. Madea takes them to April's house and April is reluctant to watch them as she is selfish and just wants to date Randy, not take care of three kids who aren't her own kids.

She begrudgingly takes care of them even though she REALLY just wants Randy. She is cold and rude to them. It is late revealed that April's Mother had a brain aneurysm on a bus and died. April's heart melts a little but she still wants her Niece and Nephews to be put in Foster care as she still just wants Randy, not to take care of her underaged niece and nephews. She tries to get Randy to comfort her during her grief over her Mother being recently dead, bit Randy coldly pushes her away and April has an even sadder look on her face. She seems to realize that Randy doesn't REALLY love her, he's just in it for sex with her. Soon, Randy tries to rape her 16 year old Niece.

Randy is stopped by a Handyman April allowed to live in the house. Randy falsely claims that Jennifer asked him to have sex with her for money. Jennifer and the Handyman both attest that Randy was lying, which he is. April pretends to believe Randy and tells Randy to go take a bath. Randy takes a bath and April interrogates him on what really happened between Jennifer and him. Randy once again lies and claims Jennifer asked him to have sex with her for money. April knows he is lying and screams at him for trying to rape her 16 year old Niece and implies she herself was raped by her Mother's boyfriend when she was around Jennifer's age and the boyfriend claimed SHE came onto him. April drops a radio into the bathtub Randy is bathing in. Randy jumps out with about two seconds to spare. He is understandably kicked out of the house.

April TRULY changed for the better, believing her Niece and the Handyman and trying to kill Randy for trying to rape Jennifer. She and Jennifer's relationship gets stronger and so does her and her Nephews too.

April ends up marrying the Handyman.

April is one of my favorite Movies Villains who changes for the better.
