I have also noticed that in the Powell shows, Charles and especially Buddy engage in some pretty racy sexual innuendo talk. For instance, Buddy exhorting Charles to go for Mrs. Robinson, the married cousin of Mrs. Powell. In another episode (the one where they try to get into the frat) the episode ends when they go to find out who fits into a rather large sized bra!!!

The syndicated show certainly did contain more sexual innuendo with regard to Charles' and Buddy's lives at college. Sometimes it does not seem like the good natured family show it was with the Pembrokes.

you are absolutely right about the sexual talk between these two. i remember in one episode buddy was going to a girl's house to get information or something like that. when he got back charles asked him "did she give you what you wanted," and buddy replied,"no, but i got the information." it's great.
