Please ban conspiracy threads from these forums

There are posters promoting conspiracy theorist channels from YouTube and other areas. Please don't let Sitcoms Online be an extension of crackpot forums like GLP or a promotion of trolls on social media who make stuff up for clout or money.

I'm guessing this is in response to the Maui Fires thread. Speculation will happen when there's not a whole lot else to go on. I think as long as everyone is respectful and civilized, discussion should continue, even if you don't agree with all the claims.

If the thread becomes disrespectful or overly political, rest assured it will be closed. If you see something that warrants removal, you can always use the Report button.

Banning all conspiracy threads from these forums would be easier said than done.

Some of those Maui Fires conspiracy theories like a directed-energy weapon or "space laser" are beyond belief.

Our Unsolved Mysteries forum has plenty of conspiracy threads. We don't need an individual section for them.

Yes its amazing......Its sad its not a real truth site..... I dont wanna post alot of stuff cause staff will get mad cause the members are all riled up about it.....

I would love to post stuff about 911 and this current sham but my views are too strong......

Speaking of conspiracy theories, while I played the Deconstructing Piggies video with the funny Beatles song ThisLittlePiggy might like, one of the suggested videos on the right was a conspiracy video over 21 minutes about did Paul McCartney (still alive today) really die in 1966? That was over a decade before John Lennon would be murdered.

This is one of the oldest ones, and it dates back to Sgt. Pepper. John Lennon sang about a car accident in A Day in the Life , which was based on a news story. People then said that Paul McCartney had died in the accident and that A Day in the Life was a major clue. Other clues: that Paul was barefoot on the cover of Abbey Road and if you played one of the records backwards, you'd hear, "Paul is a dead man."

As an aside, conspiracy theories are part of a sham industry that started in the 1960s to sell books and make a name for oneself. The biggest one of them of all was the author of Chariots of the Gods, a Swiss who I consider one of the most evil human beings to emerge in the postwar.
