Reelz Documentary Elizabeth Montgomery - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Reelz has a documentary on Elizabeth with a strong focus on the Bewitched years. Nothing really new is presented and they cram her whole life into 90 minutes.

It is highly based on information from the Pilato books and his take on her life, so not sure how accurate everything really is. Pilato is extensively interviewed. But her son Bill Asher is also interviewed and he does confirm some things from the bio books. Erin Murphy narrates.

Bernie Kopell is interviewed and has some interesting on-set stories. Richard Dreyfuss from season 2's "Man's Best Friend" also appears. Very interesting to hear him talk about Bewitched as it was such a small part early in his career. He did mention sympathetically that he could tell Dick York was in massive pain and was medicating for it.

An interesting tid-bit is that Elizabeth would have done season 9 only if the studio fired Bill Asher and put Richard Michaels in as producer. The request was denied so she ended the show.

These days I was looking for the featurette that the season 1 DVD brought in 2005, called The Magic Unveiled. I do have the DVD box but I don't have where to play the DVD anymore. Does anyone have it online?
