Default Jack, Chrissy and Terri as roommates

How do you think this trio would have been, if there was no Janet? I always honestly thought Terri was more similar to Janet than she was Chrissy, so I would see this working.... with Terri as the down-to-earth one and Chrissy as ditzy

Jack living with two blondes? It would have been interesting to see how that would have worked or not. I'm sure if it was Janet/Joyce that was replaced they would have brought in another brunette that had a similar personality to Janet. It worked well for them.

Imagine Jack living with Chrissy and Cindy, with Furley popping in and out. It would have been the wackiest show on television.

They kinda did that with one episode... I don't remember much about it, other than people thought Chrissy was pregnant and Janet was absent and out of the blue there was another girl somewhat similar to Janet staying with them. I heard in real life there was some conflict they were having with Joyce and she could have left the show, but it got resolved

lol I'm sure Jack's personality would have gone more into the direction of "straight man" as in overly serious if he was living with Chrissy and Cindy as both of them would probably get on his nerves lol

Why did they have to pretend Jack was Gay??

Who cares if he lives with 2 girls,it doesnt mean they are doing it!!

It was just a different time, if you had the potential to get someone pregnant, it was a TABOO... My grandpa said he'd never let an unmarried man and woman share a bed under his roof, but would have NO ISSUE with 2 gay men sharing a bed and having all the sex they wanted, because he didn't consider GAY a REAL THING, so to him it wasn't real sex. When I questioned him he replies, "2 men can't get pregnant"

I imagine Mr. Roper thought very similar to my grandfather, he seems to be from the same generation, the Greatest Generation. Mr Roper seemed convinced that Larry was gay also, but did not seem to mind it those couple of times when he thought caught Jack and Larry "making out", he just made a joke about it, BUT if he thought Jack and Chrissy or Janet were making out he always hit the roof
