Default What happened to Ann in the Amarillo Connection is something I dealt with.......

a total of 4 times since 2000. And It was either go to the new location or you are fired. I couldnt afford to quit so I had to suck it up and go. Right now I am working at a location I hate and been here since september of 2021 when I was transferred. I am actively looking for another gig because once again I cant afford to quit and have bills and rent to pay. That is the harsh reality of the real world when working at a job.

BTW: what was Ann's next job and did she file for unemployment?

I think you may know some of this but I’m gonna tell the whole story anyways…

The next episode she goes to the unemployment office to file and ends up meeting Nick. They don’t like each other but learn about a potential job and both go for it. The guy there wants them to work together, which they do. Eventually they open their own ad agency despite the dislike. As time goes on they fall in love.

Then Nick dies and Ann takes on Francine as a partner (remember her, the blonde who screwed over Ann about Amarillo in the first place?). Ann and Francine then remain business partners and frenemies at their ad agency for the rest of the series.

Dammit, I knew you were going ask that

If I remember right, Ann needed some money, Francine had some, and despite everything, Francine was good at the job.

Watching the episode and we never see Ann get to Window B at the unemployment office. Once she starts talking to Nick the scene cuts back to the apt with her sampling ice cream

I was never transfered per se.I had worked for a call center/ messenger service. Just a small office, a few coworkers. I was very content and it wasn't far from my home . Than we went into a merger with another company, had to deal with more than one boss and more coworkers, plus it was further away. Than getting used to that , we ended up on another merge, so there were 3 companies together and the office was even further! Very chaotic !

Than the whole thing just went under . They filed bankruptcy and I ended up getting unemployment for 2 years! 2008- 2010 when we could get extensions on the unemployment and be on it that long! Such relaxation! I really enjoyed those 2 years off from working !
