Default Why did the Fonzie wear a Leather jacket on the beach???

I saw the Hollywood episode yesterday on TV LAND and saw Fonzie on the bech WITH THAT LEATHER JACKET. I don;t know what the producers were thinking about but it was very silly to have the Fonzie character wear a jacket on the beach. Even the coolest guys in real life relax sometime-That scence with Fonzie wearing the leather jacket on the beach killed the whole episode. As soon as i saw that i turned the channel.

Well, that's just the Fonz's trademark. Granted, there were parts of episodes where Fonzie didn't wear his jacket, but to have him out of his jacket for an extended period of time would appear out of character for him, I guess.

He still didn't need to have the jacket while on the beach and ESPECIALLY WHILE WATER SKIING!!!!-that was so silly

The jacket is part of Fonzie's personality. It may seem crazy for him to wear a leather jacket on a beach, but it was just part of the character. It's kind of like the surfing Batman episode. Batman surfs in the costume and the crazy looking trunks. It's part of the costume and the character. Just running my mouth for this post. lol

That was Fonzie's water skiing jacket, it's water proof and shark proof.

It may be part of his personality but if his character was supposed to be COOL the producers sure had his character loooking pretty foolish. And to have it on while water skiing was a bit much
