Confused Handcuffed - syndication

This is one of my favorite episodes. I have seen it a million times. It was just on TV the other day. I noticed a different editing that I have not seen before. Does every channel do their own editing?
When Jack and Chrissy are at the Regal Beagle they are handcuffed. Jack has met his date at the next table. Normally the part of a guy hitting on Chrissy is edited out. There is a joke that Chrissy says she is "attached." I have not seen that segment in a LONG time. However there was another scene that was edited out that is normally left in. When Jack and Chrissy leave Furley's apartment they are met with Janet on the stairs who encourages them to come back to the apartment since no cop has come. However this scene was edited out and after they leave the apartment we just see all 3 of them walking into the apartment.
I wonder if they purposely edited to leave in more comedy and jokes?

Has anyone seen different edits on different channels? Its sad we cant get the full versions of these shows on TV anymore.

Antenna’s version, for one, is older prints of Three’s Company. Logo, if you are watching on that, is heavily butchered but newer prints. Same with Pluto, those may be full length or close.

That explains it.
Its so worth it to have DVDs with the uncut versions. So many scenes are cut.
I was watching an interview with Vicki Lawrence and when she would meet fans at meet and greets she said the most common thing said was fans demanding uncut DVD versions of Mamas Family. The first DVD season 1 had all the TV edits. Fans feared all those jokes were gone forever.
Its sad how butchered the shows are.

Pluto TV even cuts off the second half of the closing credits.

Ok just watch the extended version of Handcuffed and these are all the things I am seeing which feels like the first time. I havent watch this show on DVD in over 11 years. And I gotten so used to watching the show on Pluto and Antenna TV. These are things I noticed that wasnt on Pluto or Antenna TV

Chrissy cousin saying HOW he lost the patrol car. On Antenna TV and Pluto he just says he lost the patrol car. On youtube version he explains he lost the patrol car by chasing a suspect and forgot where he left the car

I saw the Guy who comes in and asked Chrissy is she alone. And then he says..."mind if I join you and winks his eye and Chrissy says...."im already attached and winks her eye back at him. Then he goes come on Blondie give me a break and Jack tells him to shove off. This scene is not shown on Pluto or Antenna TV

Seeing Jack and Chrissy run into Janet outside Furley's apt

When cop asked Janet does Furley with a low torch? She says yes he cuts and cooks at the same time. I dont remember seeing her say that on Pluto or Antenna TV

And of course the TAG SCENE when Jack makes Janet pour soda on her breast twice wasnt on Pluto or Antenna TV

Its amazing how much is cut from these shows. If you watch the episode Eleanor's return, its funny to see Helen Roper run after Larry when he's hiding the bedroom naked. She stands at the door and keeps saying HONK.
In the episode "The Older Woman" Larry's reluctance to seduce the other woman is usually cut. In syndication we see Larry grab a glass of wine and go right to the living room. But the scene is cut. Larry originally goes into the living room and then runs back into the kitchen when he sees how old the woman is. Then Janet and Chrissy convince Larry to go back in.

Here's another one, the first episode that introduces Ralph Furley in the syndication version Furley is never told that Jack is gay which accounts for the living arrangement with the girls because of one scene that was for years edited out.

And then years later thanks to DVD there is a scene in which Furley says "oh yeah I heard about you Janet, Chrissy..." (at which point he unknowingly pats Jack knee but quickly regress his hand)....and Jack"

Oh yeah for years in syndication that scene was cut out until of course when Nick @ Nite acquired the show in the 2000's.

Oh ok, that was the scene that was local syndicated and not on cable version. I know N@N was the first channel that introduced me to the tag scenes. In year 2000 which was before the DVD and Cable version, all I saw was local syndicated versions and never knew tag scenes existed
