I didn't really watch his show. I never have been much into talk shows, and I was kind of young for most of the time that he was on. My sister and brother-in-law liked him a lot. For me... he was okay, but like I said, I rarely watched.

I do watch Leno, though. But only for the monolog, headlines, and Jay Walking. Once the celebrities come on, I usually change the channel.

I liked his show it was funny. Hey I've got to like my fellow Nebraskans. My favorite when he did Carnac the Magnificent. He was very funny there never will be another one like him.

Yes, I liked Johnny Carson. Carnac was good and I also liked it when he would read letters to santa, around christmas time and when he would have the Zoo people on and they would bring their animals on the show.

Johnny Carson's been off tv for 10 years. He left the Tonite Show in May 1992 and Jay Leno took over. I wish Johnny had stayed on for a few more years, Leno is a poor substitute.

From what I've seen from the NBC 75th anniversary I thought he was pretty funny.

Yeah, he's funny. But right now I'm mad at him because apparently he only has episodes he hosted in his vault for sale. I wanted the ones Richard Dawson hosted.

Default he is the and always will be.

he had more class and timing and was a better listeners then leno, letterman,or conan put together. He knew if the stars were great and the band was on and ed had it going he was going to have a great show.Johnny could be funnier saving a joke better then anyone. He wasn't arrogant like letterman is.letterman isn't as funny or as witty as Carson and never will be.he thinks being taking away from his guest makes the show funnier. When he has seinfeld or robin Williams on he trys to hard to feed them lines to get them going,He just doesn't have the charisma that Carson had or has and still does.Leno and C.think there being cute being smarmy and sarcastic with guests.Johnny didn't have to get mean or punchy with his guests,He was great with kids and animals.Carson will always be king.I miss the King

Leno isn't even worthy of shining Letterman's shoes. Johnny was the master of the genre and Letterman is his successor. Leno is all smarmy like he's the funniest guy on the planet. Leno knows nothing about what comedy is. He stole the Tonight Show.

UH HUH. I can watch Leno and laugh, but he's a FAR cry from Johnny. For years it was hard to swallow that Leno took over the tonight show. I was only 8 when Johnny left, but I was one disappointed viewer. I've watched Leno from time to time, but since Carson left, it's Letterman who's the man.
