With it's fantastic commercials and great prices on name brand clothing Clothestime was a popular clothing store chain during the 80's and 90's. Before stores like Miller's Outpost Ross Dress For Less Marshall's and Fashion Bug became popular there was Clothestime. As you watch Clothestime's commercials you'll understand why Clothestime was the best clothing store in town to buy the latest fashions and the commercials for Clothestime used the 1989 The B-52's classic Love Shack as their anthem. I do not know when Clothestime went broke in the 2000's but there might be some Clothestime stores still surviving in some states but these commercials are a fun look at 80's fashion

I loved Clothestime ! I shopped there a lot. They had great clothing at good prices. I was sad when they went out of business !

And the commercials were really good too!

My mom and I went into a Clothestime store once and my mom liked some of their clothing but we never brought any clothes from there. But the three clothing stores of choice for my mom and me back when I was a teenager and are still our favorites were Marshall's Fashion Bug and Ross Dress For Less and when I saw these Clothestime commercials this morning I was shocked at how well 80's and 90's fashion styles changed compared to today and Clothestime's commercials really proved how successful the store was. When did Clothestime go broke and why did they go out of business?
