Default Tori Spelling leaks texts from realtor ‘mocking’ her family’s housing ‘crisis’

https://pagesix.com/2023/07/21/tori-...amilys-crisis/

Quote:
Tori Spelling released a series of text messages she allegedly exchanged with a realtor, who called her family’s housing crisis “amusing.”

In the texts posted via Instagram Stories Friday, a man named Robert Vinson starts out by writing, “The latest bizarre inquiry.”

Spelling, seemingly perplexed by the message, then writes back, “I’m sorry? I’m assuming that wasn’t meant for me.”

Vinson, who is apparently clueless that the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum is on the other end, responds, “It is more for Karen.”

The realtor then adds, “Tori Spelling has been asking for a 1 month rental. If you follow her situation on TMZ it is all amusing.

The “90210” alum — who is divorcing her children’s father, Dean McDermott, and has been dealing with a mold issue at the family’s home for months — then wrote over a screenshot of the texts, “And, this human is a father! I guess I hold out too much hope that people lead by kindness.”

“Shame on you Robert Vinson @vinsongroup real estate!” she added. “My 5 kids are going through Mold poisoning and we need a home and this is how you treat people? Mocking their situation?”

In response to the situation, Vinson told Page Six exclusively, “Celebrity impersonation is rabid in Hollywood. As a real estate broker, I have a fiduciary responsibility to be certain of the identity of the person we are dealing with.”

He claimed that after Spelling reached out about the one-month rental, he texted her, “How can I confirm it is you” as he believed it was a “scam".

However, he alleged, “I never received a call back from the text. I am now being publicly shamed for my due diligence.

“I sent Ms. Spelling the following text after being bombarded with vulgar messages from her followers, ‘I am sorry about the message. I was raised by a single mother and understand the challenges you are dealing with. When you did not call me I thought I was being spoofed by someone who was pretending to be you.'”

Because Spelling released his Instagram handle and private information, people have reached out to slam the realtor online.

“Make sure before you mock someone for their misfortune – that you send it to the correct text box, and not to the said person you are mocking – just sayin’” one user wrote.

The person added, “Let’s hope your family does NOT go through the same situation, because being sick by mold is no joke. I feel second hand embarrasment [sic] for you.”

Another wrote, “Wow, using any humans misfortune as your amusement says more about you than anything. Not a good look.”

Spelling has been honest with her followers since May that her family’s home has been infested with toxic mold for a long time.

That same month, the “Messyness” host took to social media to share that she and her kids were still “so sick” from the infestation and could not get well.

“Our family needs help,” she shared at the time, requesting references for a lawyer.

“Our troubles are next-level with our MOLD problem and the house that’s been slowly killing us for 3 years.”

Earlier this month, Spelling and her five kids, Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, 6, were spotted staying at a $100-a-night motel.

McDermott, who announced in June that he was divorcing the actress after 17 years of marriage, was noticeably absent.

However, an anonymous source recently claimed that the motel stay had “nothing do with a separation.”

“They decided to stay there because of the ongoing mold problem at their house,” the insider further alleged.

“Tori is taking this issue very seriously and isn’t going to subject herself or her kids to that.”
