Default A Picture Challenge...

Ok... This is an observation I made a long time ago, but I want to see if anyone can prove me wrong.

Does anyone have a picture of Dorothy/Bea sitting at the kitchen table, but NOT in the center seat. I've seen Blanche, Rose and Sophia in all three seats, but Dorothy ALWAYS is in the middle...

unless...

Someone can prove me wrong. Anyone?? ANYONE???

Blanche: There must be homosexuals who date women.
Sophia: Yeah, they're called lesbians.

Here's what I mean...

If you look at the table, from left to right, it's always something like:

Rose, Dorothy, Blanche

Sophia, Dorothy, Rose

Rose, Sophia, Blanche

Blanche, Dorothy, Rose

I can't EVER remember seeing Dorothy sitting on either side. I think it had something to do with her height... or her profile.

That's why I made this challenge!

That's one helluva challenge there, Jayman! Guess I'm going to have to drag myself off, kicking and screaming, to watch some episodes to try and prove you wrong It's a hard job but somebody's got to do it! Somehow I'm thinking that there MUST have been a time when Dorothy sat in a chair other than the centre one, but we'll see...

I have faith in you Sam. I'm sure you'll endure the challenges of watching the show.

Honestly, I don't think it ever happened though.

Default I GOT IT

I don't have a picture, but in the episode where all three girls pose for laslo the sculpter. During a scene in the kitchen that episode, Dorthy is sitting in the chair closest to the living room.

Yep, you're absolutely right. I've just found the episode on one of my old tapes and taken a screenshot of it, which I have attached She moves from the middle chair to the end chair after Sophia places a whoopie cushion on it!

Well, it's been proven!!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON STUMPING ME!

I forgot to post, but my roommates did a home-made GG trivia game book for me. They thought they could stump me... but I only missed 4 out of about 50. And, I challenged a couple of the ones they said I had wrong originally and I proved myself right. I need a 12-step program to get out of my addiction.

Nah.......

Thanks for the pic!!!

I just caught another one... and I was totally surprised.

In the episode where Kierstand and Michael sleep together, Rose, Blanche and Dorothy are talking in the kitchen. Blanche is sitting in the center, and Dorothy is on the right, with her back to the stove.

So it happened twice... hard to believe it only happened those two times in seven years.

It also happened in an earlier episode when Dorothy's ex husband wanted her back. She was fixing flowers in a vase and sitting on the right side of the table.

Default Speaking of the table seating chart

This is something that has always amused me...

Whenever all four ladies were sitting down, Sophia had to bring over a stool instead of sit at the far side of the table? I realize that they had to do this in order for all of them to be seen by the camera, but... in reality, it just seems funny. Imagine it being *real* and seeing all four women crowd around one side of the table and leave the other side completely empty.
