TV Broadcast Facts and Numbers

Buddies was a spinoff from Home Improvement that featured David Chappelle and Jim Breuer who guest starred in 1995.

Jim Breuer was replaced by another actor because ABC didnt want him overshadow Dave Chappelle

The show made its debut on March 5, 1996 at 9:30pm after Home Improvement.

After 1st episode the show was ranked #17

The 2nd episode was aired the following wednesday, March 13, 1996 at 9:30pm after Grace Under Fire and finished with a ranking of #38

After 3rd episode the show continued to fall and was ranked #59

After the 4th episode, even though the show moved up to #50 it was cancelled and would air for the last time on April 3, 1996
