Talking Jesus and The Gang (Posted)

Here's the theme song to Comedy Central's newest sitcom set to premiere in January 2003!

Jesus (He's Back)
Written by Denis Leary
Sung by ???

Back when I was first around there was no TV
No HBO
No NBC
But now there is and that's where you'll find me
Every Friday Night at 10:30
Jesus and The Gang
He's Back and He's Pissed
Jesus and The Gang
Jesus and The Gang

That's not at all funny! As a Christian, I hate it when people make fun of Jesus. There's nothing funny about that at all, and that's exactly why I try to avoid Comedy Central.

Shows what kind of I-D-I-O-T-S they are at Comedy Central. With that kind of sacrilegious garbage, I will make sure I will never get a service that includes Comedy Central! And I will persuade others to stay clear off that stupid service. Of course, Denis Leary is a moron too...

My Christian virtue of tolerance has limits too...!

"like, oh my god...I'm christian..blah blah blah" OH PLEASE! I know this may be hard for you to comprehend, but not EVERYONE is christian. And not EVERY christian is offended by this show. Point is, if you don't like the show & you avoid the channel DON'T WATCH IT! AND LEAVE THE REST OF US TO ENJOY IT IN PEACE!
oh, & by the way, to the moderators reading this: I find PREACHY/WHINY CHRISTIANS offensive-so how about suspending all these people who are preaching about their viewpoint on that & this program? I'M BETTING NOTHING HAPPENS TO THEM! Despite their hating on people who make fun of jesus...

wow...uhh...okay...um I am more than offended by that statement
I myself am a devoted christian, and I really get offended by songs, movies or comedy shows that have any relation to making fun of Jesus. Which is why I try to stay away from all of that junk, like Comedy Central, Fuse, MTV. And I really hate southpark. So yeah maybe not every christian is offended, but I certainly am, so don't get smart with us christians....."boo hoo cry me a river"

greetings from the heath: FYI: No, I am not a former member come back. BTW I wasn't "christian bashing", I was responding to a post I thought was stupid & offensive from a person who was christian. I was searching for Denis Leary lyrics & this site came up. And I don't care that it's a 2yr old post-I have as much right to post here as you do & state my opinions.

Don't get smart with us christians...yeah, right. LOL. As I thought a mod with a christian bias, big surprise considering you let this comment stand: "My Christian virtue of tolerance has limits too...!"
Well, guess what? My Not-Christian virtue of tolerance has limits too! How's that grab ya? If you leave a post like that up, don't be surprised when people *gasp* respond to it. This is a forum site right? or is that too smart for you.

I don't care if you're a Christian or not. When you come on here and your first post is to attack a member then you should expect to get a response. Its very suspicious. Also considering your SN. It seems like you have an agenda. Yea this thread was up and you must have really had to dig for it too. And I'm pretty smart thank you very much. This thread must have really grabbed you to make you register and all when you weren't even looking for this site. yea right.

Oh yes, you are so smart: " Yea this thread was up and you must have really had to dig for it too."
Did you even read my post???
"I was searching for Denis Leary lyrics & this site came up."
They have this thing called Google, it's a search engine, people use it to try and find stuff on the internet. You type stuff in, and search results come back matching part or all of the phrase you typed in. This web site, specifically the board the comment was on, came up as a result to my search for Denis Leary merry f@#$in christmas lyrics .
And yes, it did grab me and make me register-which I have every right to do, whether you like it or not-because I had an opinion about what someone posted. I am SO sick of christians posting crap like the post I responded to!! In case it wasn't read the 1st time, the whole world is not christian, and some of us are tired of hearing comments like the following:
"My Christian virtue of tolerance has limits too...!"
This comment to me is Very Offensive! It implies that thereby but for the grace of christians go the rest of us, it implies that stuff christians don't approve of is around is because they allow it to be...No, it's around becausse there's a market for it, which just proves that someones "christian virtue of tolerance" has no relativity whatsoever. And BTW I never complained about getting a response-as I so blatantly commented previously "This is a forum site right?" Which brings me back to my 1st point: Maybe you should read a post before responding to it

I never had to dig through it. When you responded it went to the top of the View New Posts thread. Yea I read your post and I just googled it myself and I didn't see any thread from SO come up at least in the first 5 pages. Maybe you had hours to kill or maybe you just had an agenda. When you mentioned suspending christians for making comments like that, thats another reason I think you're an ex member...probably someone I've talked to before. Guess what...theirs a lot of offensive things in this world....you live with it. And the fact that you responded to a 2 year old thread says something too. I don't even know if those people come here anymore. I've never seen them. Whatever turns you on though.
