Default Was Madonna's 1994 album Bedtime Stories the beginning of her new image?

I found Madonna's 1994 album Bedtime Stories and when I listened to it it seemed to have an R&B sound and it tells me that with this album she was trying to have an R&B image and sound. I also noticed that she worked with Babyface on the Bedtime Stories album which might explain the R&B sound on some songs. I also cannot figure out why Madonna decided to team up with singer Bjork and Bjork wrote the song Bedtime Story and I found the lyrics and the video creepy. Was Madonna's Bedtime Stories album the start of a R&B image and sound for her?

I think that when the Bedtime Stories album debuted in 1994 Madonna was starting to debut a new image to help her gain new fans and since R&B music was popular in the 90's Madonna wanted to fit in with the R&B radio stations and audience. And Bedtime Stories proved it well that Madonna could score on the R&B market and charts. But one of her best ballads she released as a single was the song Take A Bow and when you listen to it you can see why Babyface did a great job on the song and Madonna scored a home run with it. I'm surprised that none of the 90's Madonna albums haven't been rereleased in a new remastered edition with unreleased tracks and Warner Bros/Sire Records should rerelease this album in a remastered version in the future

Hi, Hawkee! I think you are right. Madonna needed a new style because she was not a young girl any more. I think this was when she went down hill. She just became too weird. She thought she was going to be a hit but she was only a hit for the New York/Hollywood weirdos. What do you think?
