If you have horse crazy girls in your family your girls might've had some books of The Saddle Club book series growing up. In 2002 a The Saddle Club TV Series debuted on TV in Australia but aired in Canada. The show followed the same style as the books and centered on the main characters Stevie Carole and Lisa along with their archrival Veronica DeAngelo as they learned about friendship and life lessons and most importantly the wonderful bond of horses. Warner Bros released the first movie of The Saddle Club in America in 2003 followed by Discovery Kids airing reruns of the series later on. As a fan of The Saddle Club books and other horse books I always wondered why horse based shows aren't seen very much on TV except for Heartland and I would love to see a soap opera based on the Thoroughbred book series someday. But for The Saddle Club series I think it was a smart idea for a children's show
