Remembering Chevy's Like A Rock commercial slogan

Chevrolet had always tried to attract it's truck buyers by using slogans in their commercials as a way to gain a selling audience. In 1997 Chevy began using a smart slogan and also built commercials around it. Where did the slogan come from? Bob Seger's popular hit Like A Rock. And by using this song in it's commercials as it's slogan proved Chevy had scored a winner on their hands. And the commercials became so popular that The Simpsons parodied them in an episode in a Krusty Burger commercial. And Like A Rock became a hit single again for Bob Seger due to these commercials much like Unchained Melody did in 1990 when the movie Ghost was released

Hi, Bestie! I liked those old chevy truck commercials! Chevy can make them now too, because when an electric trucks battery goes dead, it is like a rock too! LOL!
