So.. I'm reading through some old cases on the wiki.. This one jumped out at me. https://unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Evonne

It's one of the missing/censored segments, apparently. I don't remember this from the original run.. I started throwing a few things at it to see what sticks.

So, the sister, Sherryl Borkowski I found some info on.. The following three names..

[Sherryl Szyszlo]
[Sherryl Borkowski]

I'd suspect, but can't prove, that she's likely divorced(or widowed) and remarried since the UM segment back in '95.

Which would leave one of those as her maiden name. We know he mothers name was Joyce McKelvie before she married 'Stan Jones'.. so.. In theory, either Adamaszek or Szyszlo would be the true last name of 'Stan'.

And.. here we go..

There's our article. And, we can see.. UM only changed his last name. His name was Stan. We have a discrepancy in the last name. Szyszlo vs Szyszla, other articles also report it as Szyszla. Full name - Stanley Edward Szyszla

I can't find either Joyce or Stan on findagrave.

Stan would be ~88 now, if he were still alive. Which, i suspect he's not.

And you'll notice.. Seems.. the name Sislo has been used, too. Note the McKelvie name on that. Joyce's brother was named Frank..

So.. The last mention I can find before that was his arraignment where he was held without bond once he got out of the hospital in Jan '66.

The thing that strikes me wrong here.. And that this should be far easier to solve.. Evonne would have been about 2 years old at the time her mother was murdered.. So.. One would think the name wouldn't change after adoption. Though, anything is possible.

so, we have the names of the murderer husband, we have the name of "Ron" who she was dating when she was killed.. "Brad" is the only one missing.

Sherryl, from what I can tell, is still alive and living in Michigan.

I can't really find anything on a Evonne Elizabeth.. Though, I did find several Yvonne Elizabeths, including one in Michigan, but.. The DOB doesn't line up.
