Perhaps you remember this classic commercial line? If you aren't familiar with this line you probably haven't heard of Kellogg's Nut "N" Honey Crunch cereal. This cereal made it's debut in 1988 and launched a series of funny commercials beginning with the famous commercial line mentioned above. Kellogg's Nut "N" Honey Crunch consisted of corn flakes with a touch of sweet honey with a mix of nuts and almonds. Despite a series of funny commercials the cereal was a huge seller for many years before discontinuing in the 90's but it sure paved the way for nut and cereal lovers and the cereal also made an appearence in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation when Clark Griswold has a bowl of Kellogg's Nut "N" Honey Crunch for a midnight snack when Eddie's daughter Ruby Sue comes in and asks Clark about Santa Claus. I wonder why due to the commercials about cereal with nuts became a popular fad?

I believe that cereal was introduced circa 1979 as Honey and Nut Corn Flakes. It went through a number of name changes over the years.

Hi, Hawkee! I liked the Nut "N" Honey commercials. I did not like the cereal, though. Do you think they will bring the cereal back? For some reason I do not like nuts in my cereal. For a while they were putting nuts in all inds of cereal. Kind of like how they put ranch dressing on everything and "chipoltle" in all mexican food. (I don't like those either).
BTW did you like Nut "N" Honey?
